Turmeric Ginger Salmon
Ingredients
- 3-4 Lbs salmon
- 1/2 tbs salt
- 1/2 tbs pepper
- 2 oz white onion-chopped
- 2 oz mushroom-sliced
- 7 tomatoes-sliced
(Ingredients used to make the creamy sauce) 3 tbsp ginger paste, 4 oz fresh parsley, 1 tbs turmeric, 5 cloves garlic, 1/2 fresh squeezed lemon, 1 pinch of salt, 1/4 stick unsalted butter, 6 tbsp white cooking wine, 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 stick unsalted butter- this extra butter will be added when cooking the salmon.
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Portion (cut) Samon Filet and add 1/2 tbs salt and 1/2 tbs pepper.

- (Mix all these ingredients with a food processor) 3 tbsp ginger paste, 4 oz fresh parsley, 1 tbs turmeric, 5 cloves garlic, 1/2 fresh squeezed lemon, 1 pinch of salt, 1/4 stick unsalted butter, 6 tbsp white cooking wine, 4 tbsp olive oil.

- Heat a non-stick skillet or cast-iron pan over medium-high heat, add olive oil to the pan and sauté chopped onions, mushroom, and tomatoes for about 1 minute.

- Add the salmon fillets to the pan skin side up and cook for 2 minutes. Next, flip the salmon over and cook for another 2 minutes.

- Add butter on top of salmon fillets and cook for 1 minute.

- Add creamy Turmeric & Ginger Sauce on the salmon fillets and let it spread.

- Add water and cover with aluminum foil and cook for 5 minutes.

- Uncover and Salmon should be ready! you can serve it with white rice.
